This way of transmitting sensations defeats language. The viewer can connect their inner sensory receptors, sometimes called soul or spirit, and try to feel/see through them. From childhood I experienced strong emotions always associated with colour sensations. Sensations were so real that I had to recreate the colour of that inner experience, and then I started to paint. The feeling of this colour is real and tangible, so my material body becomes a colour. It's called synaesthesia. So I started to think that my feelings and thoughts become material through the colour because I experience it the way I experience every part of my body. Similarly, we convey information through colour on paper. Here I drew a parallel between two physical entities, person and paper, where colour is the beginning of emotional communication.Format:
